My ancestors are mostly from Germany and Alsace. I use DNA to find my ancestors. I try to check the data but it is not always possible for now. The symbol * or $ means I found the data in the archives (Ele Toldot for Frankurt for example) or in books or articles written by confirmed genealogists or existing charts founds in various books or articles. There is a lot of confirmed data without a * or $ (in France for example) but the birth, wedding or death certificates is posted under the name of the individual. Any comment is welcomed and I am open to any proposals for corrections.
