Pourquoi un enfant doit-il obligatoirement être rattaché à un coupe.

Pourquoi un enfant doit-il obligatoirement être rattaché à un couple. ?

Why any child should be attached to a family ( and not to a single person) ?

When a child is born   from an adultery relation,  the man (father married with another woman) and the the woman appear like a "normal" family ?  The choices of links in "satut marriageg " are too short...

Despite of he statut  of the child "adulterous"   (the marriage was impossible and illegal at the time of birth),  the natural father and mother appears in the tree with a marriage ring !

What can I do to have tree reslts corresponding to the real life ?

(Excuse my bad english)

greetings

Hi Rene,

Thank you for writing to us.
The best way to add a child to a single parent, is to add the parent, an Unknown spouse, and the child, and then delete the Unknown spouse.
You can also change the relationship for people already added as spouses to suit the situation. You can set it as Unknown or Other. To do so:

1. Click ‘Edit’ on one of the two partners.

2. Choose ‘Spouses’ and ‘Manage Spouses’.

3. Change the status.

Best Regards,
