Hi. I would renew my membership, but I can see that the price has increased a lot since last year. last year I was charged 149 us dollars and this year it will be 189 us dollars (including Tax). I would really like to keep my membership and will be really sad to lose all my data, but I think it has become very expensive. is it true that the amount has increased that much?

I started a family tree on geni.com and have strict privacy controls on it. They appear to be working and none of the family members are google-able or even searchable on the site. However, I'm finding all of our very private information all over google leading to this myheritage.com site. The tree is the exact same info and images as on geni.com. I see that myheritage.com bought geni.com in 2012. However, I never had an account here (until having to create one to post this since there is no contact info on this site) and cannot change the privacy setttings. Why is this happening? What can I do to stop it? If I create an account here can I claim ownership of that tree and delete it all?
Ik heb ooit al eens een stamboom aangemaakt in Familie Site, maar weet inlognaam en password niet meer en kan die dus niet meer openen. Maar wil hem graag integreren in mijn nieuwe stamboom op MyHeritage. (Al dan niet door met de hand gegevens over te nemen.)
