Greetings and welcome to The Webb Family Site! My birthname was  Lori Ann Webb (b. 1961). When I was three months old, I was put up for adoption. In Nov. 1963, my name legally became Lori Ann Webb .

I found my birthfather in December 1993. His name was Edwin Lee Webb (b. 1929, d. 1995). We spoke on the phone for three weeks, but never met. Well, not exactly. Ed fell into an irreversible coma on 12/24/93. I visited Ed and other family members for three weeks in January 1994 and a month in July 1994. I don't know if Ed knew I was there, but I'll always be glad I *saw* him.

I have a sister named Carol Ann (b. 1967). Our mother's name is Nancy Louise Petrak (b. 1936). She is now married to Anthony Bubenas. I found my birthmother on May 30, 1989, but our relationship only lasted a few weeks.

Carol Ann and I have three half sisters from our father's previous marriage to Fern June Mayo. Their names are Sheryl Marie (b. 1953), Nancy Ann (b. 1956) and Judith Lynn (b. 1958). I have met Nancy and Judy, but not Sheree.

In July 1994, I traveled to my father's birthplace (and ancestral hometown) of Christopher, IL, where I met a ton of uncles and cousins and other family members. There's a few photos from my trip accompanying this summary. In 2001, I visited with two uncles in CA and met some members of their families before both uncles passed away a few years ago.

Over the years, Ed's sister has given me a bunch of old family photographs and newspaper clippings that I hope to scan in and add to this site eventually. Thank you, Auntie Carol!
