Welcome fellow researchers, family members and others interested in or connected with CATHERY family geneaology. This family tree is a work in progress and I welcome and thank you all for past or future contributions that have helped me with the building of this valuable and now shared resource for us all to enjoy.

It is very important to maintain a high level of data accuracy, so wherever I can, have provided my sources by scanning supporting documents and associating them with an individual or family. As we all rely on each other's information, it would be very useful if you can provide any supporting documents you have, to authenticate your records and to save others the time and expense of duplication.

If you have any photos of our common ancestors it would be great if you would share these with your fellow researchers. We all get a considerable thrill in seeing images of our previously unseen ancestors.

I know it's a lot of work to sort out and scan all those old photos, however it is worth the effort to have your family history photo album digitally recorded and protected for the sake of prosperity.

Don't forget to label all photos on the back. As in 50 years time others may not know who these strangers are or even where the photo was taken. These photos end up in the rubbish bin, lost forever. How sad!

Even unlabelled and undentified photos may be of some significance to other researchers, who may be able to identify indiviuals related to your family.

Please think about this. You may be holding the only image available of a photo showing a common ancestor.
