Just to let you know I have been in contact with a new 1st cousin on the Desjardins side of the family. Her name is Sandra Desjardins & she is the grand-daughter of Joseph Desjardins, memere Morin's brother. I am really excited about finding her because she may have a lot of information on our ancestry. She hails from North Bay but lives in Owen Sound. I would like you all to welcome her to our family site. She wants to come onto our site so I can help her find her relatives too.
I hope that everyone is well and are still looking into our family tree. I know it has been a while but I had an injury to my shoulder & muscle since June 27/10 but I am healing and still working at the nursing home. Keep well everyone & my prayers are always with all of you.
Love to all

One man actually emailed me yesterday to tell me that his wife searched in the town archives and said that the house where Verna drowned was still there. She also found people in the town of Bruce Station who knew mom & dad and of the tragedy with Verna. Mom was pregnant with Joey then. How sad that must have been for her & dad & the kids. They didn...
