I was wondering why you used a fathers last name to indicate a daughters last name such as Kari Gautsdatter when her fathers first name was Jon. My understanding is that this didn't change until the late 1800s to early 1900s. During the time frame of this match it was much earlier. I think we are talking about the same person but we have different maiden names. Not being Norwegian and having many confirmations, this seems different to me. Thank you, Lon Peterson
