I want to indicate on my family tree when two people have a child but are unwed. I've tried choosing "friends" and "other", but when I generate the report, it still states that they were married. Any suggestions? Thanks.
It's ALOT easier to find if you have downloaded the free My Heritage Family Tree builder, once you've registered it online (does this automatically) you can download your internet version of the family tree.
Once you've got that done and opened the file find the person who's status has changed (there's a list on the side to make that easier), right click on their edit icon, go up to spouses, and click on manage spouses. you can now change the staus of a relationship, add more spouses etc
I have the same issue as the original poster. The issue is that the other parent was never a spouse but the program will list it as such.
It says that I was married 3 times when I haven't been.
