Thank you for your reply. My grandmother, Sylvie Cuvelier, was born in Jumet and lived with her husband, Paul Lienard, and my father (son) Antoine in Wasmes.
My grand mother , Felicie Cuvelier was born in Wasmes the 23 of december 1885 .she was the daughter of Felicien Cuvelier and Lucie Hupez , Jumet is not far from Wasmes , I am in Australia ....where are you ?? have you been to Belgium ???

Thank you for your reply. We have lived in Arizona for about 37 years. My wife and I took our daughter, after she graduated from the University, on a European tour. Following the tour we took the high-speed train up to Brussels and stayed with a family, with the same last surname, in Charleroi, BE. He took us to Wasmes and we saw the house where my grandparents and father lived. It was strange walking the streets where my father grew up.

Since working on my tree and researching, I've been in contact with a 4th cousin that lives in the area around Wasmes/Mons.
