Well i have the same question. Where do i get information for my ancestors from france?? Everytime I search it on the internet it don't help me because I don't know really who I am looking for. I know it is Lordeau and crabtree. So if you can help find my ancestors please contact me on ur family site!!!!
Thanks for your help and corwaration!! teeeeeee heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
i was thinking it would be cool, if, on top of showing "how one person is related to the other, say, 'second cousin once removed'", that a more profound metric would be the percentage of shared DNA one has to a common progenitor, and by default, this could be the earliest person in such a tree.
Since this only makes sense when you choose a common progentior, it could be a report or a chart.
What percentage of blood relations/dna am I to Ancestor A? Am I more closely related to Ancestor A than my third cousin or not?
It is hard to tell if a 4th cousin 5 times removed is more related to a common progenitor than a 5th cousin 3 times removed... or something like that. It doesn't always click.
