Meine Familie Meichsner kann ich über meinen Großvater Alexander Meichsner ( geboren in Schwarzenberg 1880 - ? gestorben in Magdeburg) , über Carl Hermann Meichsner ( 1846 Wildenthal bis 1924 Magdeburg ) bis Carl Heinrich Meichsner (Lackiermeister) zurückverfolgen.
Für die Zeit davor habe ich keine Angaben.
Die Familie stammt auf jeden Fall aus dem Erzgebirge.
Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?
Ich weiß nicht einmal, wieviele Geschwister mein Großvater Alexander Meichsner hatte.
Meine Großmutter Martha Louise Bekusch ( 1880 Danzig- 1964 Magdeburg.) hatte mehrere Geschwister, u.a. Carl Otto Bekusch ( 1875 - 1953 ), der nach Schottland auswanderte oder auch August Friedrich Bekusch ( 1877 - 1943).
Die Eltern meiner Goßmutter hießen Joseph Bekusch und Louise Wichnowski. Ihre Lebensdaten sind mir unbekannt.
Alle Familienmitglieder sind in Danzig geboren.

I can request a GEDCOM file to be exported but nothing subsequently happens.
By selecting Family Tree / Manage Trees / Export to GEDCOM and clicking on the "Begin the export" button I get the message that it is being generated and will take a few minutes - and I will receive an email with a link to the file.
The "Begin the export" button then greys out and I don't get an email.

Hi, is there anyway a future version of Family Tree Builder could join multiple families together with differant spellings? what I mean is.... one of my Great Uncles was born using my name of "connerty" but dropped an "n" so he became "Conerty" has had many desendants, who are connected to my bloodline, but "Not related" as far as Family Tree Builder says... I have his Birth/Marriage/death certificates to prove the change of spelling, thanks heaps...
