I can't find any record of my grandfather in the Social Security Death Index online. His name was Paul Tircuit. There's another Paul Tircuit whose name does show up, but it's a different one. Different middle names, and my grandfather was a jr. Is there any reason my grandfather wouldn't show up in the index? He died in 1966 and I believe was born in 1914. Thanks.
No, that's the other Paul Tircuit. There's a Paul S Tircuit, who was born in 1890, which is the one you found. Then, there's my grandfather, Paul J Tircuit, Jr" who I believe was born in 1914. But, the only social security info that comes up is for the other man.
The other problem is both Paul Tircuits died the same year - 1966, but the other one died in November, and my grandfather died in March. I found a reference to his obituary, which is where I got the death date. Still no social security info.

My grandmother was from a large Irish family, I have her mother and fathers name from her marrage certificate and her daughter, but I don't seem to be getting any further than that does anyone know how to find Irish families please. Thank you x x Karen
I would be interested in any replies. My great grandfather came from Ireland (Cavan County?) about 1850. Another ancestor came about the same time. Yet even on Irish sites I can't find out anything. All I know about my great grandfather is his first and last name and his families in Canada. But I do know the other fellow's name, his wife's name, her parents' name and that he was married in Ireland. Either way, I am hitting a dead end!
