I`m looking after information about my oldgrandmother Inga born 13 mars 1877 in Sweden. 1902 she went into Minnesota and her last name was Newman, I think she take that name because her younger sister also take that name when she went to Minnesota with her father John Newman (in Sweden he was born Jöns Hakansson...) Inga will married 1905 with Andrew Beckstrom born 1861 and the get 3 children.... Lily born 1906? Ester1909? , and Carl is born 1913 29 mars dead 10 july 1979.
Is there anyone who can help me to get name and maybe address for any relatives over there...(about Inga and Andrews)
Ingas sister Emelie (Emma, Emily) Newman born 1883 18 feb in Sweden went 1899 over there and married with John F Lindgren 1904 01 16 (or 1904 01 06) They get 5 chidren... Clarence, Margaret, Lilian Berta and Idrell. Information about them also and I`ll be very happy...

There is a Donald E. Backstrom, born 21 Jan 1925, died 27 June 2001 in Minneapolis so maybe there is an obituary that will give living family members.
Look at www.findagrave.com and search for Backstrom in Minnesota - there are graves with information for Backstrom. You can probaby find some relatives in the comments.

There is a Donald Beckstrom on the census records I sent you. This could be his grave/obituary information. It mentions a son name Greg Beckstrom and I found a Greg Beckstrom in Minnesota on Facebook so maybe you could contact him to see if he is related to you.

Beckstrom, Donald G. Age 85, of Bloomington, MN, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 22, 2012, Thanksgiving Day.
He was a Navy Veteran and longtime employee of Honeywell.
He was preceded in death by wife, Betty and survived by children, Greg (Jan), Gary (Denise), 4 grandchildren, brother Vinton (MaryAnn) and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
No memorials.

Ottar was my dad's uncle who arrived in Ellis Island June 5th, 1923.
He went to stay with his uncle Simon Anderson (1868-1955) and Ingeborg Olina Anderson (1874-1952).
Simon and Ingeborg's address he listed as 2312 Banks Ave, Superior, Wisconsin.
I found that they later moved to 2310 West 10th street, Duluth. Probably between 1930 and 1935.
Ottar was the "financial hope" of the family but instead he died under suspicious circumstances. His belongings were returned to Norway but nobody knows how he died. The rumour is that perhaps he was killed over gold, participating in gold digging but this story may be the fiction of an overly creative mind :-)
I am looking to find if there is a death certfiicate of Ottar anywhere. Or a grave.
I was thinking also that Simon and Ingeborg perhaps had any children and grandchildren and that perhaps they had some information about what happened to Ottar. I haven't found any children in my searches. But in the 1940 counting it sait that they had "other" sources of income which I thought perhaps could be children.

I am looking for any information on Doreen Holland born 7/29/1926 in Stockport, Cheshire England. I am looking for any family member dead and alive. Her mother was named Harriet Beasley Holland, Father was Alfred Holland. I believe she had a brother named: Alfred, Norman and Arthur, Sister named Margaret Peggy Holland as well.
